Maple Street Bridge
Balance Testing

The Flanders Engineering Group has been hired by Milbocker and Sons to performed strain gauge testing and related balance calculations on the Maple Street Bridge in Manistee, Michigan. The prime contractor on the project is Civil Coatings and Construction.

 

The scope of this project is primarily painting. For Flanders Engineering Group’s work, they will install strain gauges, collect balance data, report the balance condition, and make balance recommendations at various stages of construction. Flanders Engineering Group has been providing professional balance services for over 25 years throughout the US.

Constructed in 1964, replacing the original bridge constructed in 1908
